History of the Firm
Peter Sorensen founded the firm in Crows Nest in 1970. The firm changed its name to Sorensen & Brown in the early 80’s after Tony Brown had become a partner. Sorensen & Brown is the longest standing firm currently practising in Crows Nest.
Sorensen & Brown provides a range of services which have evolved in response to, and are matched to, the needs of the local community. It serves both commercial and private clients many of whom come from the north shore of Sydney but some of whom are scattered around the country and even overseas.
The firm’s area of practice includes small to medium business and general commercial, all conveyancing and property matters, commercial leasing, commercial litigation, family law, wills / estate planning, probate and contested estates. Both partners also regularly act as executor of wills.
Sorensen & Brown aims to provide its services at a high standard and a reasonable price. The firm attempts to provide simple and cost effective solutions to its clients’ legal problems using the skill, knowledge, experience and innovation of the partners and staff.
The firm is well versed in and regularly uses all the alternative dispute resolution techniques currently available.
